PRODIGY EXTRACTOR?

Extractor slipping from spent Brass, less than 500 rounds multiple jams with different Factory Ammo..
Need to replace extractor in my NEW S.A. 1911 DS 9mm "Prodigy".
Any recommendation on after market Extractor replacement?
Maybe........ Brown or Wilson?

Are you sure it just doesn’t need to be tuned a little bit? You’ll have to tune a replacement extractor anyway…

you sure it's not just an extractor adjustment?

i had an issue with a new Remington 1911, i pulled out the extractor, adjusted it using a tool, and done deal.

My first thought too Hayes.
Then again, with less than 500 rds, that shouldn’t be the problem - unless Prodigy’s have been found particularly prone to buildup around the extractor??

Going to throw this out, you do only load the gun from the magazine don't you, meaning you don't put a round into the chamber and then drop the slide, if so, this is bad for the extractor and not a good thing to do on any 1911.
