But how are the mags markedProdigy's are down to $1300 in my area...
The ones marked 2011 have a higher resale value!Ok, stupid question, does it matter what it says on the bottom of the mags as long as they work, plus they came with the gun
Mine all say BAMF.

The mag works fine, but STI has a TM on 2011 and that is why the Prodigy is a DS 1911 and not a 2011Ok, stupid question, does it matter what it says on the bottom of the mags as long as they work, plus they came with the gun
Thanks, I don’t think we’ve ever discussed that before. The mag works fine, but STI has a TM on 2011 and that is why the Prodigy is a DS 1911 and not a 2011

Staccato, is STI. They changed to Staccato in may of 2020, I was just being lazy. I just wanted to know if people had the same marking on their magazines. but a Staccato 2011 mag’s will run in a Prodigy and vice versa. Thanks, I don’t think we’ve ever discussed that before.
Technically the trademark is owned by Staccato. I do not believe the TM extends to magazines. You cannot outright trademark a common use word, which is why Staccato has worked so hard to make sure the term 2011 applies to their gun and they don’t lose the mark, like the term 1911.
Staccato was STI. Yes, Staccato’s mags will run in a Prodigy. Half of my Prodigy mags have 2011 on them, but I got them all when the gun first hit the market. I don’t know if this still occurs with newer mags.Staccato, is STI. They changed to Staccato in may of 2020, I was just being lazy.
