Olin Winchester, LLC ("Winchester") is recalling seven (7) lots of 22 Long Rifle 40 grain Round Nose Black Copper Plated M-22 Rimfire ammunition.

Symbol: S22LRT
Lot Numbers (last five characters): VA01M, VA90M, VB21M, VB31M, VC82L, VD01L, VD90L

Winchester has determined the above lots of 22 Long Rifle ammunition may contain incorrect powder charges. Ammunition with excessive powder charges may cause firearm damage, rendering the firearm inoperable and subjecting the shooter and bystanders to a risk of serious personal injury.

Over loaded ammo; that’s not good.

I just returned some Browning BRP .22 ( also made by Olin) because of FTF on 13% of the rounds fired. Good solid hits but no priming compound . That and now this is giving me a bit of concern on QC
