I have their "under the bed" drawer safe (it holds a lot, and is a heavy sucker). On one side of my bed, I have a bio-metric GunVault safe. It must be one of their earlier models, because it takes several swipes to open it, even when I'm fully away. If someone broke into the room, the last thing I want to do is tell the guy, "give me more swipes to open this thing" This RFID safe may be a good alternative to my GunVault.

The Hornady AR locker is a decent under bed setup with the RFID opening feature it makes it a really quick action safe. Amazon was selling them for around $200 about a year ago but they have gone up quite a bit.

Bought the Drawer Safe off Amazon. Surprisingly,it was $50+ cheaper on the Hornady's site

Yes I had to put away some of the guns that I had in different rooms to be safe. Now I need to get a couple safes to safely store guns so I can be safe.

I had a car safe, “lock box” when my truck was broken into I found the box completely dismantled, luckily I didn’t have a gun inside. I don’t leave firearms in my vehicle when I’m not in it.

Great article Annihilator. Luckily we don’t have little ones running around so no need to child proof the apartment.
I would like to find something for one of my AR Pistols when traveling, my truck is a Super Crew Cab so tons of room in the back seat floor area.

I will, I do agree on having it close and accessible but also secure.
Just watched the video on Hornady’s web site on the night guard safe.
One word.
