Good recipe. I like the cooking with oranges thing. Sounds great with venison! Fruits in general are often overlooked when cooking. Use ground dehydrated orange peal on beef & burgers on grill a lot. Smells good when cooking too! Pita to make dried ground orange peal zest, but a little goes a long ways. Keeps very well.
More curves, dill weed or seeds can be good on many foods too. Same with celery. Apples work good with baked turkey. As with oranges and venison, do not eat the cooked apples. Yes, found out hard way!
