Q. any dealing with buying a gun from guns.com? additional charges?

Hello,

Never dealt with guns.com but sold them 2 of my older, regular 1911 .45's... it took 2 weeks from start to finish. They gave more then I asked, payment received within days of them receiving the firearms. Great selling experience.

BUT now they have a Dan Wesson I want. And not a bad price for the gun. But I'm wondering besides the transfer fee and taxes, any other hidden charges they like to add? I really don't like buying without seeing but this ones hard to find locally.

Never used them, but they should list all their charges on their site. Or call them. I tend to use GunBroker my firearms, except for C&Rs.

If the dealer is listed, call them directly. I do this on guns of america.

I have bought several pistols from them (seven, to be exact). I have never been charged any surprise fees. They charged the appropriate tax, a $15.99 firearms processing fee, and I chose to add their $5.99 package protection. The firearms processing fee for every one of the firearms I bought from them was $15.99. Every single sale went smoothly. Hope this helps.
