Question on XDm pistols

I noticed when XDman showed the empty cardboard box before the release of the new XDm Elite, do new XDm guns come in plastic case or any gear? When I bought my original XDm back in early 2010, mine came with plastic case, holster, Mag pouch, extra magazine. I was just wondering, the new XDm looks awesome. I like it.

I just bought one last year that came in a package with 5 magazines, a mag pouch, and a holster. It also had a hard case. It was a promotion though.

If my memory serves SA does a gear up promotion once a year that gives you all the extras. Outside of this promo you get a hard case and two magazines.

I have bought a couple since 2010, XDm in .45acp, and the now discontinued XDs 4.0 in 9mm, they all came with gear and hard case, no promo was going on, I was just wondering.

Well, the box is cardboard, but you get a nylon pistol pouch to carry everything.

They will be shipping all new pistols in the cardboard box. However you can still purchase a hardshell case from them as well.
