Quigley Down Under Bucket Shot

On June 28, 1874, Billy Dixon killed Ton-han-kah 1,538 yards with a Sharps single-shot with an octagon 34-inch barrel, firing a .50, 600-grain bullet driven by 125 grains of black powder at Adobe walls.
