63 degrees, overcast and breezy in Las Vegas. Went up to the range this morning (higher elevation), it was a nippy 36 degrees and full of not paying attention to the RSO safety commands newbies.

starting to rain here in RI, about 55 degrees here (known as the January thaw), and of course, gonna rain on the celebrations.
but considering in past years of sub-zero temps, snow, ice, i think the revelers won't care..to get a little rain.
oh i believe it's New Years eve, i just cannot we all survived this soon to be past year.
given all that's been in the news, locally, nationally, and around the world.

i never go the the public range during xmas week. i'll go to my club instead, where most all of the time?
i am all alone.
too many newbs at the range, and i not need to be near them.
i know they want to try out thier new toys, but way too many times, they go in not having any safety lesson(s). too many of them walk around from the ports to the back bench with gun in hand......

every monday morning, the local radio talk show host, does a "violent weekend" update.
giving details on how many shooting's in some of the major cities.
i'll have to wait till tuesday, since monday is a holiday, and he's off. (that'll mean too, hundreds of more shootings to add for that weekend)
chicago always seems to top the charts.
kinda sad, that a city gets more press for the

Wasn’t bad for me on the range, I always get the table on the far end of the range on Saturday mornings so I’m away from the crowd but the poor RSO’s where struggling with all the new gun owners not following commands and range safety rules.
