Range day and Turkey day

Went to the indoor range with @SimonRL and worked on some distance in the rifle bays

I worked on the M1 Garand for some rounds to sight in at 47-50 yards. Got that accomplished and then went to work on pistols.
Simon broke out his Sig 226 Legion for 47 yards. 4 shots. All on a 12” target. 3 in a line around bullseye and one on a 2” bull
I gave it a whirl and only put one on target.

Brought it back to 20 yards and worked on our shorter distance.
We banged away at that then moved to 15 yards.

I then got the opportunity to shoot his Shadow Systems 9mm at 7 yards..shot extremely well. Weird trigger.

THEN got suckered into his 9mm 1911 Turkey Gun… (Tisas). It shot very well. Very nice trigger.

Shot the mag and slide locked back… but, low and behold, the mag was not empty.. last round did not feed .
Justification !!!! Turkey guns live up to reputation

And I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once…….seriously, the Legions are top guns, really like my P320 X-Five, them Texas boys can shoot….

I'll get around to them eventually. Those Texas boys seem to have deeper pockets than I do though too and I have a few things definitely in front of a Sig.

@Bassbob I got the Walther 15+2 mag for my Q5SF. The +2 extension works like a pink extension. I took it to the range today and the Q5 felt so much better with the extra real estate on the grip.

I have one 15 rd. mag. I had three but I traded 2 of them straight across to a guy for two 17 rd. mags. Then I bought 5 more 17 rd. mags. I don't think I have ever loaded the 15 rd. mag.
