What, exactly, are “operator” style sights?
Do you mean the same type sights that the Operator pistol uses? Not possible without getting a different slide.

You might contact SA customer service to find out what sights will fit your slide cuts. Heinie makes sights to fit the RO. Dawson Precision may be able to accomodate. I am partial to Trijicon HD Night Sights, but I don't see anywhere on their page where they make sights to fit a Springfield 1911. Trijicon customer service is helpful perhaps they can give some direction.
