having the "right tool for the right job" is most important and i own both of these items. haven't used this hammer yet, but seems well thought out? the punches are a little more stout than the softer steel that other brands make. being chrome plated i think is the difference in them being this way. so may of the wheeler brand punches break when used (my experiences).

I have their AR 15 Master Armorer's Tool Kit. Well worth it.

not only flat punches, but also roll pin punches as well

they do not damage roll pins that are used in some guns, like all my CZ's.

the tips have a rounded point to fit into a roll pin.
