When the Hellcat was initially introduced I picked one up which was OSP configured. The Red Dot purchased was the RMSc and was easily installed. Here is my issue: I lost total vision in my right eye in the mid 1970's. In place of my right eye is a finely crafted prosthetic which was manufactured at American Optical in Massachusetts. I was under the understanding that with the use of a Red Dot should be used with both eyes open. Keeping that in mind my brother and I went to the range and in using the Red Dot I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Actually it was a 10" X 12"piece of paper and at 25 feet and not a Single round out of 13 didn't hit the paper. Shooting other micro-compacts I consistently hit the 9 and 10 rings at the same distance using Iron sights. I purchased the red dot sight so that under pressure(threats of violence) I would be able to disable my target. I gave the pistol to my brother, who is sighted in both eyes, and he had no trouble with accuracy. I have spoken to several people regarding my one-eyed issue but I have not received any logical or illogical for that matter, reason for my poor shooting with any Red dot. Just in case there are any questions of my capabilities I am a qualified expert.
