I haven't used this plate myself nor is this a product endorsement but I've heard of a few guys using this adapter plate to add a red dot sight to a non-optics cut pistol. This will require the removal of the rear sight.
A complete slide swap with a factory OSP option would provide the best results for what you're looking for.

You might want to check with C&H Precision about getting the slide milled for an optics cut out (I’m assuming that’s what you need), http://chpws.com , I’ve always found them to be very good quality.

That's a good possibility. I've seen a few different manufacturers making these plates for different pistols.
