This looks like a fun project I might consider once I slow down my gun buying might be fun pick up a old gun and refurbish it

I don't like to make changes to an old gun that can't be reversed later. I've found that refinished guns are snubbed by many buyers, and it's not uncommon to take a loss when you sell a refinished firearm.

I enjoy doing it on occasion with an old junker I find. Do the same with knives. Never over much about resale because I tend to either keep thrmem or give thrn away. If irlta sonething tare to begin with, that's a different story...

There's no right or wrong answer to the question, just opinions. It could be a fun project with a great sense of satisfaction. Or it could be an expensive lesson with little chance of recouping your expenses should you later sell the project.

i think we all saw this video (about 16 minutes long)

that would be a great project, for one to keep and not ever sell.

like mentioned, collectors will walk away

could be a daunting task, but overall, the satisfaction of a job well done, and the experience.
