There's a good-sized building in Elizabethtown (Etown), KY, that Remington used to occupy....before they moved that operation to Huntsville, AL. Maybe it's still available, and they can rapidly exit the state of New York.

So I’m going to make a statement on how I Feel about Remington. I understand that a lot of people have there firearms but for me I will NEVER buy anything with the Remington name on it after what they did to the Marlin Firearms Company.
So no love lost from me about any problems they may be having.

Kimber should be able to un-shut, since the President and DHS announced that the firearms industry is essential to the preservation of the nation in the face of this crisis...

When they purchased Marlin they made a promise to NEVER close or move the company from Connecticut. Then after 3years they laid everyone off and moved Marlin to NY there by putting hundreds of employees out of work which for some the work was all they knew. They then took Millions of $ from the Town of North Haven that the town had given them in tax breaks to stay. And talked the town into giving them more $ to move a company that had been in Connecticut from the late 1800.
