Repairs

Evening gents and ladies.... hope all is decent out there for y’all. Quick question. I bought a 911 used from a gunbroker seller and I’m having some FTF, FTL, FTE problems from the slide getting stuck on the top of the chamber. Nasty metal on metal spots. Am I able to return the gun to SA for repair if I’m not the original owner?

Thanks guys. I will be reaching out to all of them this morning. Does anyone happen to know where I can get the measurements of the barrel and chamber? I’m thinking that I pulled a dumbass mistake. I ran +P and thinking it might have swollen the chamber and barrel. Maybe That’s why the slide is catching

I wouldn't think that a little +P would be a problem. A consistent diet of it could do harm. How much did you shoot?

This is a quote from page 9 of the manual.

"WARNING: The 911 pistol in .380ACP can be operated only with ammunition that conforms to SAAMI specifications. The use of reloaded and/or +P ammo will void the warranty as the pressures may exceed SAAMI specifications, which may be unsafe. Do not use ammunition that does not conform to SAAMI specifications."

It specifies 380 restrictions, but nothing about +P in 9mm. You did not specify your caliber.

Personally, I wouldn't mention that.
