Replacing sights on XD 45

Recently got an XD 45. Bought new Trijicon sights. Used a sight pusher to remove the rear sight but it wont budge. is there a set screw on the bottom? The new sight is not threaded for a set screw. The factory sight just wont budge. Any suggestions

If I remember right there is a certain direction to push the sights out, plus they are very hard to remove, I could be wrong on the direction part, can’t remember

They are extremely hard to remove. I used a hammer and punch. Sight pusher to install.
I've always pushed from right to the left to remove and install left to right.
I've personally never seen one but I've been told some manufacturers got tighter going to the right.
My dial calipers said the XDm and XDm elite were the same both sides.

None of the Croatian, SA guns are tapered and can go on or off either direction.

I wasn’t sure if there was any one direction for the sites to come off, thanks!

Xd man. Where can I find a xd s mod 2 rear sight at. I like the blacked out serrated u notch. I have the white out line and dont like. I don't wanna paint it or use a sharpie.
