Resist the temptation for unnecessary shots

There is a formerAir Force officer and pharmacist doing life in Oklahoma for administering the coup de gras at his pharmacy to one of two armed robbers he had shot. The irony is if he had killed both with the first shots he would have been a hero.
There’s a guy in here Minnesota that did the same thing; two people broke into his house, and he shot them…then, after several minutes, shot them both in the head…and then didn’t report it for a couple of days.

Had he stopped after the first shots (and reported it), it would’ve been a clean shoot. Instead, he’s serving a life sentence.

could it have been a case of "adrenalin rush" to protect his woman......???

so much so, he had no self control?

and good grief...a public defender......he's toast a second time.
