I couldn’t disagree more; shooting someone in the back when they are already down is an execution, not self defense.

There’s a guy in here Minnesota that did the same thing; two people broke into his house, and he shot them…then, after several minutes, shot them both in the head…and then didn’t report it for a couple of days.

Had he stopped after the first shots (and reported it), it would’ve been a clean shoot. Instead, he’s serving a life sentence.

Sounds like he was trying to emulate what he saw on TV or in the movies. The harsh reality is there are consequences (usually) to bad actions in real life.
