No kids involved...it had to do with the 3rd burst capability of the VP70M.I had a VP'r, YES that trigger was horrible. Long, heavy and stacked heavier until it broke.
I do not miss it one bit.
The HK rep told me it was intentional to keep young ones from being able to shoot it. Well you almost needed both fingers to shoot mine.
You had a VP70Z. I have a couple (maybe 3 or 4? Have to check the safe...). Semi-auto pistol only.I never knew they had a full auto VP'r.
