New 1911 from RIA, the BBR 3.10 in .45acp, almost reminds you of the discontinued Warthog of some years back. This little pistol has to rock you when you fire it.

I almost bought a warthog once but the trigger felt like crap and I passed. I did buy a Kimber ultra tactical ( no longer made ) that had a 3" BBL. and was 5" in height due to the magwell. It let me get a full grip and I didn't find it hard to shoot at all.

I've always liked RIA/Armscor's non-traditional 1911 offerings. Now that .22 WMR is available for half the price of 9mm, my RIA XT22M has become my favorite range toy. I found some .380 ACP ammo last month, so I was finally able to take my Baby Rock to the range. Assuming that the price is right, a BBR may very well find it's way into my collection in the future.

I know there is a lot of pro and con on them however I am not interested in any 1911 with less than a 4" barrel in .45acp. As an aside if anyone has a Warthog somewhere I have 3 mags (.45), if you want them no charge send me your address and they are yours.
