Review on the Springfield Ronin, it goes into some history of SA 1911’s, but when the author said they obtained castings from Brazil, SA never used castings in there 1911’s.

Also, the current Springfield Armory is a private business started in 1974, vs. the US Govt Springfield Armory that existed from 1794 to 1968.

The SA 1911 Brazilian imports were forged by IMBEL vs. being cast.

Yep, no castings what so ever

I'd take a RONIN in 10mm.
Haven't seen anyone but 'SOOTCH" review the trigger pull. He came up with a pull in the 3 1/2 or so range. Pretty nice for a cheap gun.
