I definitely enjoy shooting mine. Other than adding TruGlo fiber optic sights to it, it's stock and VERY accurate for a 3.3 inch barrel handgun. The recoil is very controllable and it's great for concealed carry. It's a solid pistol for the CC role I use it for.

Good post Anni. I have the 45 Shield in the Performance Center 1.0 version (along with the PC versions of the 9 and 40). I also have the "regular" 1.0 shield in 9mm with an Apex trigger installed and I feel that the PC triggers are very similar in "feel", to the Apex. My PC shield 40, actually has more felt recoil than my 45 (at least it feels that way to me). The PC version 1.0's that I have, came with ported barrel and slide, textured grips (like the 2.0 M&P's, which I really like), improved trigger and their "Hi Viz" sights. I really enjoy them all, and currently carry the PC 45 shield as my EDC.

I love my 45 Shield. Do not carry it often as only put a hundred rounds through it so far. Did add a Hogue handall as texture seemed too aggressive.
