rifles were once made in my state..???

Old_Me

SAINT
so, i was at the doctors office just yesterday. while waiting, i read the local neighborhood paper.

seems a semi-automatic rifle was made in my state, back in the 1940's, to go up against the Garand..????

and 1 is up for auction soon, here at the local auctioneers

i won't be going, i am sure military fanboys and serious collectors will however.

Those are some crazy lookin things. i have shot them before.
when i went to the mom/pop store, the owner who learned smithing from his now late dad, when i showed him the article, he said, "yup, yup, i had 2 in here, one recently, the guy wanted to know how much he could get for it"

he told him to hold onto it, and to never sell it..

so i have to wonder if it is either of those 2 guys that has his up for the auction...

to have such a rare piece of history, but then, many times, economics drives some to make that decision to sell.

or, whomever is auctioning his off, maybe is near his life on this earth, or has to maybe sell his stuff off, to go live in a nursing home..???

tough for sure.
