Rock Island Armory 9mm/.22TCM Combo 1911 Review

looks nice. I did think about getting one because of the 22TCM. My dad had a Ruger 93 (I think) 9mm and 30 cal combo. Sold it to my brother and he sold it to someone else would like to get it back. We were talking about it last week.

I've been curious about the RIA Combo for a few years. The main thing that always kept me from making the purchase was that I never see 22 TCM ammo on store shelves. Now that there is no ammo of any caliber on my local store shelves, this may be less of an issue. I'm hoping that one of the two ranges I frequent will add a 1911 Combo to their rental case. Even with all of the excellent reviews for guns that can be found online, I still prefer to have personal experience with a particular type of gun, or at least a positive report from someone I personally know, before I make a purchase.

I have one; it’s a lot of fun. The .22TCM is very light recoiling, but impressive with the muzzle flash/report (it’s a LOUD little sucker).

I’d take it over 5.7 any day.
