Ronin 9mm question on springs

OK, here goes

New to me Springfield Armory Ronin (Early marked Ronin Operator) 5" 9mm

my preferred ammo is 124 gr Hardball and for serious duty 124 gr Speer Gold Dots probably +p but whichever I can get as there is only 70 FPS between std and +p.

I believe the Factory springs are 9" Recoil and 23# mainspring ( please correct me if wrong) and I am unsure about other springs although I believe they use an extra power Firing pin spring.

I have seen everything from 9# to 14# as standard for a 5" 9mm 1911

For those who have been using these for a while; what springs are you running in them?
Is the 9# recoil spring doing ok?
Is the stock spring ok for the +p 124 gr Gold Dots?
I was thinking 11 or 12 # may give less wear and tear.
Is there an advantage in a flat wire or other type of mainspring over a standard round wire spring?

What about a 19# Mainspring? Or should I stay with
I have a 19# and other parts to assemble an arched Mainspring housing I was given to try.
If I like the feel with the 19# better and Depending on which MSH I like the feel of better the 19 may go into the stack flat housing if I stay with it.

I would like to think the factories know best but 9# just seems light to me; but then I have never had a 9mm 1911 before.

On my Springfield RO Operator 9mm, the factory 9# spring didn’t have enough force to close the slide all the way most of the time, so what I did was to remove the recoil spring from my Kimber 1911 9mm, which I had no issue like I did with the Springfield, put it into the RO and my problem was gone, this spring was a 12# spring, so I installed the same spring into the RO, I never bothered the mainspring, still the same today, zero issues with the slide closing

My blued 9mm Garrison came with a 9# spring and was confirmed by Springfield as proper. But that was not what some of the best 1911 gunsmiths suggested. I had already had some issues on the pistol with maybe 20 rds through it (124gr and 147gr), which was attributed to burrs on the slide/frame and the disconnect needing attention. It also wouldn't return to battery without a hard slam to the back of the slide.

I changed it out to a 12# spring after an independent 1911 shop remedied the lack of quality control. It was their recommendation to go to the 12# spring.

I think I'll start looking for a 12# spring. I'll probably get either a Wolff or a Wilson

No hurry as this will likely get shot only a little as I don't get to the range much any more.

I wonder why Springfield chose to go with 9# in these?
