Ronin EMP Cross compatibility

Hello I am the proud owner of a Springfield Armory Ronin EMP 3 inch and am looking for a good appendix style holster for it. I’m currently looking at the T Rex side car holster fitted for the standard EMP 3” but I do not know if it will accept the Ronin series. Does anyone know if they share the same footprint or if they require different holsters?

Ok, I edited my original post, since there both EMP’s, I would think it should work, I misread your post and had a brain fart thinking you had a regular Ronin 1911, sorry for this. So to answer your question, I think it would fit, but maybe fire them an email to the holster company and ask them

I believe the Ronin EMP is a materials and cosmetic improvement over the Standard EMP, but they share the same formfactor. Someone else will likely come along to confirm or deny.

Hmm gotta believe the cosmetics thing must be entirely subjective. I find the blued 4 inch EMP to be superior cosmetically to the Ronin versions. But that's just me.
