I currently own a Ronin 4.25" 9mm. I'm about to purchase a Ronin 4" EMP 9mm. I'd really like it if the mags were interchangeable. Website says one is a 10 round and the other is a 9 round. Other than capacity does anyone know if they are interchangeable? I'd love to have a shooting bag with a bunch of mags good for either gun.

EMP mags are not interchangeable with standard 1911 mags.

Your Ronin is a commander sized 1911, the Emp is another animal, sorta like a Grolar.
Like this Browning the EMP is a downsized copy of a 1911, a 1911 derivative not true 1911. Functionally they are basically the same, well almost the same. The EMP has different take down procedure and tools, I understand. Parts, including magazine do not interchange.
