Ronin Operator .45 4.25” question

Got one on the way to me. Anything to watch for or keep an eye on? Any problem areas or just a good to go pistol?

i have the Ronin 5" 45 ACP, and love it. love the 2 tone. shoots great. so i'd suspect the shorter barrel will be every bit as great.

It's the same length as a barrel on a Colt Combat Commander.

Haven't had any issues with mine. Some have had issues with the 9mm versions, but the .45's seem to operate damn well.

Don’t know if it’s still the case but the early Ronins had a very stiff takedown lever plunger and it was very easy to put an idiot scratch in the frame. I filed a notch into my lever and it was easy after that.

the "neat tricks" i use, are a clear plastic laminate, that you's use to say laminate a fishing license. it's nice and thin, and slides under the lever, preventing that scratch.

another trick i saw on the internet was to use a thin, and small screwdriver, go in thru the ejection port, and push in the plunger. you will not scratch that gun.
