I have a stainless steel 7-shot GP100 with a 2.5" barrel, and it's one of my favorite revolvers. It's built like a tank and has excellent sights. I plan to pick up one of the 4" or 6" models in the future.

That being said...I much prefer my 686 to it.

That being said...I much prefer my 686 to it.

I have both as well Hans, a 686+ TALO 7" Barrel. I like em both, but really enjoy my 4" Python probably the best of my 357's.

I would like to have a Ruger GP100 blued version with 4.2" BBL. My first handgun was a Ruger Security-Six .357 magnum , the fore runner of the GP100

It's the only pistol I own that isn't black or blued. I generally don't care for chrome or SS pistols. This one was given to me by my father.

GP100 one of my most favorite revolvers. I had a 6” and sold it. I wanted a 4” model over the 6”. They shoot great but I swapped out the springs with Wollf springs and polished things up and it made a big difference. Very pleased with the GP100 and even the SP101.
