When he talked about suppressor issues and stated about gas or the supposedly more of with the can on...................well there is literally not enough gas to be had to begin with. Now back down to 6" or less and there shouldn't be an issue with cycling. With carbine barrels in small cased ammo or I should state very small cased a lighter recoil spring is necessary, especially with cans rated for larger calibers and cartridges.

Since its a blowback system one would think that the can would provide more back-pressure.

BTW with the other, its not really a good comparison between the 7.92x33 Kurz & the 5.7x28.
Well in a way they are comparable:
Both cartridges were designed slimmed down from a rifle cartridges to save space and less distance shooting than standard rifles
Both cartridges in a rifle barrel length are at 2000 fps plus.

Off hand I could not think of any cartridge with similar backgrounds and stats?
Yes I know they have PCC but they use a pistol cartridge in a carbine form.

AS far as blowback, maybe some pressure adjustment like some rifles could work?
