Ruger has announced plans to increase factory capacity in Mayodan, NC, over the course of the next 3 years at a cost of $10 million. The expansion will add 60 new employees to a staff that already numbers nearly 500.

I am happy to see Ruger expanding, and am really looking forward to the new Marlin leverguns produced under Ruger's ownership. I'm partial to Springfield's centerfire pistols, but I have some great memories of plinking with my sons with 10-22's and an SR22. I plan on adding a Marlin 336 to our collection as soon as they are released.

Thanks for updating Anni,
Have been hearing bits and pieces here and there about Ruger's expansion. If memory serves correctly is much to do about including Marlin into their line up. To me, Ruger is another fine company right up there with Springfield Armory and a few others.

Definitely agree and understand that one!
Am thinking Ruger will do justice with and for Marlin, making many people continue to be happy with some great products. Not thinking they'll need any or much luck, but wish it anyways.
