There were 4 people from my small town that worked for Ruger in Arizona in the mid to late '80s. 1 was a classmate that died several years ago, 2 are 2 years ahead of me and the dad of my classmate all worked there at the same time. The dad always spoke highly of Ruger.

I love my Ruger Precision Rifle. Great rifle and well worth the price for me.
Like you KL, I love all my RPR's. I have them in .308, 6 Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .338 Lapua (the article didn't even mention the magnum models of 300 WinMag and 338 Lapua). I also did pick up a Savage 10 Ashbury Precision rifle in 6.5 CM for about the $1500 (with a $150 Savage rebate for $1350). At some point in the future, I intend to add the RPR 300WM to my collection as well. The problem is that the scopes costs as much or more than the rifles. :cautious:
