S&W Mdl. 60-7

Trying to find out if this revolver is up to shooting +P rds. Some say yes and some say no. I personally do not see anything wrong with having it loaded with +P for home defense. What do you think?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with running +P in it; even S&W will say all of their stainless .38 revolvers are capable of +P use even if not marked.

Then again, I have no issues with running +P in a century old M&P, or a pre-model 36 Chief's Special...because I have, and didn’t damage the pistol a bit.

I carry +P in my Ruger SP101. It's made to shoot .357 so .38+P shoots fine. IMHO if I had a Model 60 I might carry +P, but at the range I'd stick to regular .38s as to avoid undo pounding.
