SA 35 update

Old_Me

SAINT
ok, took my SA 5 to the club this morning, shot off 50 rds, reloaded JHP ammo, and 50 rds of new S&B

the SA 35 now has 525 rounds thru it, and NO hiccups.

i'd post a picture of the target, but i have to admit, i did not group very well. so why bother you and then you need "eye bleach"..???

this is also the 1st time now, that i shot reloaded ammo thru it, not my own, but store bought

can't recall the grain either, of the S&B, but i personally, could care less, it was a day of plinking and fun.

the reloaded JHP was all the store had available, otherwise, i'd not plink with that, and he took off money as if it was lead instead.

if i had my own previous SA 35 thread?

i cannot find it, so if a mod or admin can, maybe then this one can be merged.??

thanks in advance

i should also point out too, that before i went to the club, i put a couple of small drops of FP 10, into the side extractor. can't really say why i did this, as i have never done it before on any side extractor guns that i have.

also, when i got it home from shooting, i sprayed some Hoppes cleaner into that side extractor as well, then blew it dry with compressed air. then added a couple of drops of fresh FP 10..

maybe i was thinking that "if" there is some debris in there, i got some of it out?

but to date, still no issues.

i have been just now doing some googling on how to remove the firing pin and extractor on this gun. for a deep cleaning when (and if) it reaches 3000 rounds.

almost "seems" to look much like a tear down of a 1911.

Congrats on having no issues to date. What serial number range is your gun? One of these days, I hope to see one.
