SA Customer Service & Repair; AWESOME!

AK47MAN

Operator
I had to send my Compact XDM Elite OSP 45acp pistol back to SA repair the day after I bought it new.
One of the optic screws would not budge and got stripped. It took about three weeks to get the
pistol back in my hands. They repaired the gun and installed my RMR optics plate like I asked them
to. They also shipped my slide in a nice, small, used hard-shelled case which was a surprise for me.
It fits this gun perfectly.

Thank you SA...!
AK47MAN.

SA has some of the best customer service in the industry. I've dealt with them 4 times over the years. Once to repair a broken gun, once for some custom work and twice for little odds and ends. They were fast. courteous and aiming to please every time. That's just one of the reasons I own 3 rifles and 5 of their pistols. 😁

I also had a good recent experience with Springfield customer service regarding the bluing on my new Garrison 9mm. It took a few weeks of messages back and forth, but in the end Springfield went above and beyond to correct the issue. I own three Springfield 1911 pistols.

Same here. My seer on my 1911 got borked not long after I got it (dry firing? Not sure... using Tipton Snap Caps now), and a single phone call was all it took and they sent shipping labels and set up everything quite nicely, no ball was dropped anywhere during the process. Sent it back with an extra magazine as well.

I want to upgrade my 1911 45's magazines 7 rounds. What do you guys recommend and will 8 rounds fit properly?
I was reading about Wilson Combat Mec-Gar mag.

WIlson ETM is my first choice, he might be having a magazine sale if you hurry. McCormick is also good. Mec-Gar makes magazines for many oem firearms manufacturers. Of coarse Springfield Armory has oem type magazines.

I would suggest you contact GREG COTE, LLC who sells magazines from most manufacturers, he ships fast and charges fairly for shipping.

when i ENLARGED my barrel a few years ago with a squib load.. they were awesome
got me turned around and refitted in less than 2 weeks
outstanding

even the lady on the phone that talked through a scary disassembly to UN load it

@az4783054 is correct, Wilson is having a sale right now, 20% off. I have two 7-round mags and four 8-round mags, the quality is just superb. All of their 1911 mags fit full size 1911s, and same with their compact series. I bought 4 of these last November, the quality between these and stock is remarkable:

When you compare them to OEM mags for HK, Walther or even S&W they aren't really expensive at all. ;)
I just remembered that the 4 I bought last November was from the BF sale, Buy 3 Get a 4th Free. Technically 25% off, but this 20% sale is close.

Same here, I stripped the hex head screws on my XDm Elite OSP 10mm and even though it was my fault they fixed me up and returned the slide in about 2 weeks. I had 4 Springfield pistols and an M1A until my recent boating accident.
Oh no! My guns!.jpg

1911 seven and eight round magazines are the same. They will both fit.

Bench rested and zeroed my pistol today. I installed a CyLee Red Dot. I only had to adjust the elevation a few clicks. Very VERY accurate pistol for being 45acp. I zeroed it starting at 7yds. Then 10yds. Then shot at 15yds. Deadly accurate.
