SA Saint Victor Pistol .300 BLK

Does anyone know why Springfield Armory discontinued the Saint Victor Pistol in .300 BLK (which is what I have)?

I realize that there is a separate discussion related to using the weapon with the supplied / installed pistol brace. Is there another technical reason that the weapon has been discontinued in that caliber?

Thanks.

The Saint .300BLK pistol is not listed as a current offering on the Springfield Armory website which would lead me to believe it has been discontinued.

As has the 308 Saint Victor Pistol. I have the 300 BLK and wanted the 308, but it's no more. I'm sure they are probably still out there on places like Gunbroker etc., just that both have been discontinued by SA for whatever reason. My guess is that SA is getting out of the AR pistol/pistol brace game probably due to the upcoming ATF decision on Pistol Braces and their point system on what would required to be SBR'd (Short Barrel Rifle). Even the SA EVAC and Edge PDW pistols seem to be discontinued by SA.

SA Edge PDW Discontinued and EVAC discontinued:
