That kid was from a neighboring city and had a bright future ahead of him. What he was doing on the other side of the Metroplex, apparently trying to shove a handgun in his waistband, is anybody's guess. You don't hear of many people dying from a hip shot, but it needs to be a lesson to other young men. When you have a full ride to a decent college, focus on school and leave the street lifestyle in your past.
