Saint Victor Feeding Problem

It's not going back far enough to pick up a round, sounds like, since you have tried several mags and ammo types i would check the gas block for tightness. if that's secure i would call them and get it back to the mothership. between it and the prodigy complaints i'm thinkin SA has slacked on some QC. but they will take care of you. I know it's upsetting to send a brand new firearm back. but sometimes life happens.

Yes, the fired rounds shell was ejected with the bolt opening and closing. Did not pickup a round.
it's either short stroking or the bolt is running to fast! load 1 round and check if the catch holds it open. if it doesn't it's short stroking. what does the brass on the top round look like when it's not being picked up..............bolt moving to fast will dent the shoulder or close to the body/shoulder junction. load 3 rounds and check. short stroking can be caused by several things. does this have an adjustable gas block...........if so adjust accordingly (open up for more gas to cure short stroke or close it some to cure bcg speed being to fast.

check the bcg interface with the gas tube by opening the upper, using fingers and pulling the bcg half way back, release bcg with muzzle pointed down and see if bcg closes fully. if not the gas tube might be out of alignment due to gas block not in the correct position.

make sure firearm is empty before manual checking!!!!

many more possibilities, but post back after checking above possibilities.
