Saint Victor forward grip

Recently purchased a Saint Victor and looking for a forward grip. New at this and learning as I go. Is there a grip that is better than another? Does it come with what I need to mount it? Or do I need something else? Appreciate any info!

Just get a hand stop placed where you'll have your best grip & arm extension. Lower profile and more stable than forward vertical grips, which are really not the best way to stabilize the rifle once optics, etc (= extra weight) are mounted.

Looked at an AFG1 and 2 but was unsure if they would mount as is.

You would need an M-Lok adapter since both require a Pic rail to mount to. But Magpul makes a M-Lok AFG.

Pistol or rifle?

Forward grips on pistols are a no-go, mostly (hand stops are kosher, but not a vertical grip).

On rifles I run both Vertical and angled on 2 different guns. I like them both for diff reasons so went one of each.

found the angled was better for quick engagements. Multiple targets quick. Red dots.

found I liked the vertical with my thermal scope & regular 1x6 scope for long sessions to the shoulder to scout the terrain
