Using .308 M118 surplus military issue in bulk 175 Gr that I got years ago for .50cents a round.
The Victor chews it up en masse

I'm surprised that it'll chamber. Granted I haven't used any in any 308. Gotta give it up to SA or whomever did the barrel. What mags are you using?

It's funny that magpul sells m118 mags designed for m118 length cartridges and yet the mag you have fits m118 cartridges that are standard 308 mags? I've never checked internal specs, but hey, if it works it works.
