SC allows Illinois semiautomatic weapons ban to stay in place

Well, I am hoping SCOTUS simply wants to give the lower courts a chance to rule correctly since their docket is full right now, but I got a feeling there is some bad news with regards to SCOTUS considering high cap mag bans being constitutional. I'm not sure how they could justify an AR ban since it clearly fits in the definition of "Common use" as prescribed in Heller.

The law says this applies to any attachments that could turn a firearm into what the legislation classifies as an assault weapon.

IFOR Lobbyist, Josh Witkowski, believes this require sports players to notify the state if they own any of those attachments, even if they don’t own a firearm
