Scam Springfield site

Last night I googled M1A and the site that popped up was "www.springfieldfirearmstore.com".
I ordered an M1A and they asked for a Zelle payment.
I tried once and it failed, Thank God!
They asked me to send it to a different email address and I became more suspicious.

I then found the real site and stopped dealing with the dirtballs.

Stay vigilant!
Yep. That one is mentioned along with the glock store, the beretta store and every other manufacturer+ store you can think of, in a thread here dedicated to keeping people from getting ripped off. Which happens too often. Never, EVER trust anyone who wants you to pay with Zelle or any other transactional company that doesn't offer protection. I would always use a CC or a debit card backed by either Visa or Mastercard.

I'm glad you caught it in time and thanks for the head's up.

Also welcome to the forum.

Here's an older thread with a few scam sites listed that try to look official. When in doubt about a site feel free to ask for advice on this forum. The members here are the best and look out for each other.
