Honestly?

I think Dan Wesson is making the best 1911’s you can get without going to the semi-full customs like Baer/Wilson/Nighthawk.

Definitely the best pieces in the $1200-2k range.

They bring that quality (back) to the Colt line of 1911’s? Those Ponies are going to be prancing proud once again.

as of now, i have 2, a Pointman PM45, and the Heritage.

i'd like to get at the very least 1 more.

great shooting guns, well balanced, comfortable fit, slick fit and finish.

i think well worth what i paid for each.

we all know that there are even better (??), higher priced 1911's out there, but to me, the D/W's are just right.

it can turn out to be which is the best built 1911, and watch the names stack up.

i have a cheaper Rock Island Armory, that i love as well, maybe like 1/3rd the price of my Wesson's.

am i disappointed in that RIA..??

i just want to "move up" the scale for fit/finish/build.

but for what i paid for my Silver Korth Mongoose .357 mag revolver.....????? (check out the prices yourselves)

i had better run for my life, if i buy a Les Bear or other brand.........or my wife will do something nasty to me...lol
