Service Department Sent Me Someone Elses Slide

Does anyone know I sent my xd40 subcompact slide into SA service department to remove the sights. I paid $30.00 and it was mailed back to me. I received it on 2/12/21 by FedEx but when opened box it was a different slide Hellcat 9mm with new sights on it. I have not heard back from SA? I have the serial number on the Hellcat slide. I want my original xd40 subcompact slide back with my matching serial number. I will send back to SA as long as they send me a email acknowledging they sent me the wrong slide so when I send the slide back they just don't fade it back into their inventory and not make me a priority and put me off for months or just not deal with me anymore. Any help? Also, I live in CA and we cannot own Hellcat firearms. The sights SA put on the Hellcat are nice sights but it does not belong to me.

I agree. Don't ship anything until you get confirmation, preferably via the telephone and in email, that they have your slide and are shipping it.

Cool, thank you. What should i do if they sent my xd40 slide to someone else and it is lost. This xd40 subcompact I have not used yet. I really don't want a used slide for replacement.

SA is a stand up company. Even if someone else got your slide, that means they didn't get theirs and they most likely want theirs just like you want yours.
