Here's a cool new product I just heard about from a Brownells video on YouTube. With this replacement BCG you can make your AR a folder by eliminating the buffer weight and spring. This should open up a whole new plethora of butt stock options. I'll wait to hear some feedback reviews before I buy one. This would be a great tool for a backpack .300blk pistol option.

What's your thoughts on this BCG?

What are the laws regarding a 16" upper with no stock, which I presume could be done with this BCG ? There is a minimum length requirement correct ? 26" or something ?

I took a look at that when the email showed up.

I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't go with the ARIC BCG since it would involve switching to a proprietary part vs. a standard BCG it wasn't worth my expense to get one.

I've had a LAW Tactical Gen 3 FSA on an AR for a while. It only takes a fraction of a second to secure the stock from a folded position to locked, and then you're good to go.

I'd rather put the $$ into a Cy Havoc QRB quick detachable barrel kit (used in the USAF GAU-5A Survival Rifle) than the ARIC.

The contained bcg makes it nice, but it would be nice to have additional/optional spring weights for tuning. Design is nice and as @Talyn has his take on what would be good also. Jim needs to think more on install process/ease of. The use of both together where you can fire from folded position over just the CHT that would require buffer tube to be locked in place. I have some LAW adapters and are so so.
