Shot the new guns

Went shootin, had to move the sight on the smith a little to hit center, but it was easy to move.

Took the Ruger 380 and fired 25 rounds through it. it was hitting way left and the sight has a screw holding it in place, which is fine. the smith did too but they gave you a hex wrench to fit it. ruger didn't give you crap. anyway i have plenty of hex wrenches in the shooting bag and truck. problem is they must have this screw on with red loctite. not going to budge. i stripped the screw out trying with four wrenches. went ahead a shot it and it's not very accurate and hitting way left. so i gave up. brought them home to clean up and the flimsy and i mean flimsy recoil rod had broken. This will be my last Ruger. the last one i had trouble with.

The Beretta worked just fine, didn't have to move anything.

Forget sending to ruger, i fixt the stripped screw today. tapped an easy out in hole good and backed it out. had a box of metric screws. had to put put a file in the vise and put the screw in a drill and cut it down to fit in the groove. worked like a charm.
