Shotgun Quad Loading: Learn the John Wick Special From 3-Gun!

It’s a skill that even John Wick had to master after a few movies of painfully loading one shell at a time into a shotgun. Quad loading with the strong hand is extremely popular in 3-Gun and practical shotgun sports. A quad load requires more discipline in keeping the shells together and loading two at a time into the gun.

Now if you don’t shoot 3-Gun, but you are any sort of bird hunter, who’s to say this skill isn’t totally useless?

Maybe it’s just me, but I have a hard time taking ANYTHING from “action movies” seriously, esp anything firearm related. There are a LOT better places to learn. You doubt this? Go leap off a three story building, flip over three or four times, land and walk away😳. Let us know how that works out for you. Me? I expect you’ll break your neck, regardless of how much tactikewl crap you use 🙄

Well the subject at hand was developed by 3 gunners not Hollywood camera magic. Also the JW movies are quite different than most action movies in that Keanu Reeves trained with Taran Butler for a long time and can actually do the gun handling he does in those movies and do it very well.

With a Mossberg 88 Special Purpose fully loaded for home defense, I'll not be worried enough to learn that skill. If I can't resolve an issue with that plan, you'll find me quivering in a corner.

So I’ve heard. Still I’m not a fan of gun training via Hollywood. For every “real” thing in Hollywood there are a zillion that are poor practice..

There's a HUGE difference between the high-end gun work in the JW movies and the other Hollywood stuff that have actors that don't know what end of a firearm is from another.

There is no comparison on what Keanu R does in the JW movies, than why crap was/is done in other action movies and TV shows past & present.
