Sighting issue

I seem to have an issue with the left/right dial on my M1A. The elevation works well, but my left/right moves very little each way. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

When you say moves very little, does it stop moving and won’t move anymore after a couple clicks or you need to turn a lot for a small adjustment?

The windage adjustment is 1/2-MOA per click. Elevation is 1 MOA per click. Might that be the issue?
