As much as it pizzes me off to see this, this IS what Oakland voted for. This is why Oakland is losing and has lost major sports teams. Oakland is swirling down the drain thanks to the ignorance of the voters. They deserve this, since they voted for it. Same as Seattle, Portland, San Fran, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, etc. Elections have consequences.

Used to be that way. I had this conversation with a county cop just a few days back. We may all long for the days when a cop could kick your ass for being a moron, but those days are gone forever now.

I well remember those days. How we handled bad actors then, would get an officer today in serious trouble.
